BIM Engineer – Data Centre – Netherlands

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled BIM Engineer to join a major Data Centre project based in the Netherlands. The BIM Engineer will play a crucial role within the Digital Project Delivery (DPD) team, supporting project teams in developing, managing, and delivering multi-disciplinary BIM standards and digital strategies across all stages of the project lifecycle.

This role offers the chance to contribute to complex and technically advanced projects in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes in the data centre sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the pre-construction team in reviewing tender documents (including Works Information and EIR) to identify client BIM and digital requirements.
• Provide technical review of 3D BIM models at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics, and cost management.
• Contribute to producing and delivering project-specific BEP, MIDP, and MPDT, ensuring clarity of responsibilities among internal teams and external parties.
• Collaborate with the planning team to develop, coordinate, and deliver 4D BIM models.
• Develop and coordinate visualisations and interactive 3D models to enhance project communication and delivery.
• Lead DPD kick-off meetings with the project management team to confirm the digital strategy.
• Mentor and support other BIM Engineers as required.

Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on multi-disciplinary projects requiring BIM Level 2 compliance.
• Strong knowledge of BIM documentation processes and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications:
• Degree qualified in construction, computing, or a related discipline.
• Skilled in Navisworks, Lumion, and other rendering software packages.
